GFO conducts fly fishing guided trips for all skill
levels of fisherman. Whether you are just starting
out or need some tuning up, we have a fly fishing course for
you. In the basic 2 day fly fishing course, we cover picking the
right equipment, knots, casting, wading, fly
selection, reading the water, approaching the water,
landing and releasing fish. GFO does as much on the
stream instruction as possible, although some
instruction is in our classroom and casting pond. We
feel this gives you the right mix of classroom and
on the stream experience during your fly fishing
guided trip. During our 4 day course we
add in the basics of fly tying (three basic
patterns) and spend a little more time on the
streams fly fishing.
All equipment is provided for fly fishing classes:
rod, flies, tippet and waders / boots.
Gift certificates are available for fly fishing
courses.
Lodging is included in all packages. |
